Activity 1: Setting sail

Hi so this is activity 1 on exploring the world, so if you don't know what it is just click this. But if you not really interested in looking on that link I'll just tell you myself: 

So activity 1 (Exploring the world) is for you to imagine that you were invited to go on a trip across the ocean blue with 

Nainoa Thompson. And you have to come up with 

10 FOOD items to take on your journey to wherever.

So here is my list:

1. Noodles 
2. Rice
3. Tinned Meat
4. Dried Vegetables
5. Milk powder 
6. ( its milk but as powder and if you add it to water then it turns into milk)
7. Weet-bix (to go with the milk powder)
8. Crackers
9. Peanut butter
10. Fresh fish (caught from the sea)

So this is going to be my last post for 2019, well at school that is.

Athletics

Hi there. On Tuesday the 5th of November, Puriri and Kauri had the school athletics on the Love Lock track. And guess what my favourite event was... RUNNING! Mainly because I didn't need to do it, and also because Me, Jiraiya, Bitner and Arlo were playing like this Pokémon/D&D thing. Arlo was the Pokémaster, and Me, Jiraiya and Bitner were the players, or should I say...trainers!

An Arctic Journey

Hi there today's blog is about day 2: An Arctic Journey. Its my writing for today. This is my paragraph:

Rapidly, the sleigh whipped into action! The huskies immediately responded, we were off! Me and my trustee companions  had started our Arctic Journey together to the centre of the north pole to get to Santa's home, to find him. Suddenly we came to a halt. I sprang back to life.

 "He, Hey whats the matter " 

I hardly blurted out

The trustee companions started to wince.

"Keep, keep goin' " 

I fell asleep

"great, now masters dead"

I thought one of the huskies would of said

I felt the sleigh slide a little.

Suddenly, I felt the ground beneath me shatter...

Pablo Picasso Art!

Hey fellow bloggers, this is Arden here blogging about Pablo Picasso, if you don't know who Pablo Picasso is he is a very famous artist, he was born in 1881 and died in 1973. My point is that today (24 of July 2019) me and the class had to choose a painting of his and blog about that painting and why you like that painting. And this is what I chose.

it is a very sad man playing a sad song on his guitar, i'm not 100% sure that's what's happening but is what it looks like he is doing. It is painted in mostly blue because he was having a pretty hard time then because his friend died and most of his paintings were blue and sad, I like this painting because it is detailed and it has a pretty good story behind it (whatever it is)

Hello blogger,for the past ( 2 seconds ) for choose Tuesday I have been doing coding. What I'm doing right now is some website called gamefroot ( pronounced: gaym-frut )  it is a coding website for nearly all ages and it is pretty easy to use, play video games created from talented coders but if you want to be a talented coder then just make your own games! But it is not easy as it looks, so make games at your own risk but good luck if you choose to!

Apolo 6773 VS Cantus 4903!

this week we have been writing about this picture. You want to know what I wrote? OK!

The only sounds I could hear were the crunch of my feet as they penetrated the layers of snow underneath me, and the faint,crack that came from the orb in front of me.

I was terrified of what would happen if that planet hit this planet, oh and if you want to know the name of the planet that  im on right now is Apolo 6773. ( I named it )  

I was sent here from NASA to save this planet from another planet called Cantus 4903 from hitting Apolo 6773. ( and also to pick up some DNA samples on the way )

on the 30th of May/my brothers birthday, a very well known boxer came to tell us some very massive messages. Well I probably should tell you who it is then right? ALEXIS  PRITCHARD is the name your looking for! She has won 1 bronze medal and that's it 😩 

Virtual Reality!!

Yesterday me and the rest of the class went to room 8 to watch videos underwater with V.R GOGGLES! There were two people there one did all the talking and I don't know what the other lady was doing. Plus if you were thinking that we used the video-game goggles then you are wrong just the ones that you would watch videos on. all of the videos we watched were about the sea environment.

Mission to Mars!!

Hi this week me and room 24 have been focusing on Mars. If you want a little recap about Mars then read this next couple of lines. Mars is a very cold and earthly planet. If you want to live up there you will need a heap of equipment, such as: oxygen, healthy food, a space suit, plants and more! So before you go there, BE READY.

I have really enjoyed doing the survival kit for Mars.

Hi there me and the rest of room 24 have been reading this exact book right above this writing.Its called wonder and its about a kid called August/Augie thats about my age (9-10) and he has a cleft pallet. And that's why it doesn't show that many details on the face.

Dar she blows! (battleship)

Me and the class have been blowing up each others battleships, destroyers, carriers and other kinds of ships using the power of maths.

I really liked playing battleships because me and my dad used to play the board game all the time.
